Korey has very few requirements to get started, but making a few customizations right away makes the collaboration experience much better.
1. Connect your project management tool
Connect your project management tools so Korey can evaluate status, write and update work, and provide insights about progress. If you use more than one tool, connect every tool you’d like Korey to support.
- Go to Settings → Connectors.
- Select the tool you’d like to connect to Korey.
2. Save a memory or writing style
Provide examples or instructions and Korey will build a custom prompt to match your writing style. You can also save memories so Korey remembers your preferences — your time zone, preferred language, or how you like your stories formatted.
Customize your writing style
- Go to Settings → Writing Style.
- Write instructions for how you’d like Korey to structure Stories, Issues, and Projects — or upload an example by pasting in a Story (Shortcut) or Issue (GitHub) ID.
Save a memory
Start a chat with Remember that… and specify what you’d like Korey to remember.
3. Start your first chat
Your first chat can be as simple as asking Korey, tell me what you can do! — that gives you a good idea of what to focus on first.
From there, skim What Korey does best, pick up a few habits in Prompt like a pro, or just ask Korey for a suggestion.
