# Slack

Transform Slack conversations into dev-ready work. Capture ideas, log bugs, and get answers without leaving your workflow or losing context.

Connect Korey to Slack to capture ideas, file bugs, and get answers without leaving the channel. Korey reads the surrounding thread so it always has the context it needs.

## Chat with Korey in Slack

Once the workspace is authenticated, `@mention` Korey in any channel or thread to start a conversation.

```
@korey log this bug in GitHub
@korey what did our team ship last week?
@korey check the codebase for where this is implemented
@korey create a doc summarizing this security discussion
```

  While we work hard to keep responses accurate, AI can make mistakes. Review generated stories, summaries, and recommendations before finalizing.

## Setup

2. Click **Connect to Slack** and approve the requested permissions.
3. Make sure the Slack email on your Korey account matches the one on your Slack profile.
